Dighton man hospitalized after tree felling accident
DIGHTON, Mass. (WLNE) — According to Dighton Fire Department, medical personnel responded to an incident of a man pinned under a tree.
Around 2:15 p.m., Dighton fire and police were called to Oak Street for a report of someone trapped under a tree.
Medical personnel and officials were able to work together to free the man from being pinned.
It was found that the incident occurred during tree felling operations.
The male victim has not been identified yet.
The man was transported by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital.
A MedFlight was requested, but officials were informed that the rescue helicopter was not flying today.
