Dighton man killed in I-95 crash in Connecticut

GROTON, Conn. (WLNE) — A Dighton man was killed in a crash on I-95 in Groton, Connecticut last night.

According to officials,  it happened just before 10 p.m. on the northbound sound side of I-95, between Exit 88 and 89.

Police said a white Subaru crashed into the rear of a construction vehicle.

The driver, identified as Paul Robert Bigos, was originally trapped in the vehicle.

He was removed and transferred to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London where he was pronounced dead.
