Diocese of Fall River warns parishioners of scam emails

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Diocese of Fall River said that parishioners have alerted them to scam emails they have received.

The diocese said the emails contained Bishop Edgar da Cunha’s name, but were not sent from his office.

Anyone who receives a fake email should use caution, not click on any links or reply, and to contact the diocese.
