DMV cancels all road tests for Thursday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Revenue has announced that the Department of Motor Vehicles has cancelled all road tests for this afternoon due to extreme heat.

A current heat advisory is in effect in Rhode Island, and the state will see a high of 91 degrees.

According to a representative, DMV staff will contact affected customers to reschedule their tests.
