Court documents filed last week state that a fired Providence Police dispatcher tipped off her boyfriend and others about police investigations.

A search warrant affidavit obtained by ABC6 states that on March 11, police began investigating dispatcher Jenny Roungreuang, 26, after receiving information from a confidential informant that she was "tipping off" her boyfriend, Keilon Briggs about an investigation into his motor vehicle history and current address. Briggs lengthy criminal record includes drugs, weapons and assault charges.

The informant also told police that she also tipped off "other subjects at the center of criminal investigations by members of the Providence Police."

The affidavit also states that Roungreuang visited Briggs at the ACI over 30 time starting in 2014 when he was held there.

Police confirmed that Roungreuang was fired for violating policies and procedures. ""When we have any breach of that trust, any breach of that information being compromised, there’s zero tolerance for that," stated Public Safety Commissioner Steven Pare.
