Dog in viral alleged mistreatment video to be up for adoption soon

DORCHESTER, Mass. (WLNE) — Pluto, the dog in a widely-shared video, appearing to be hit with a leash by his owner, will soon be ready to find a loving home.

He was taken to MSPCA-Angell Friday, just days after the incident in Dorchester.

The one-and-a-half-year-old pit bull mix is expected to be ready for adoption later this week with no fee.

Police are looking into the incident.

Anyone interested in adopting Pluto should contact MSPCA at 617-522-7400.

They’re looking for a family who is willing to provide Pluto the structure and training he never had.
