He may only be 8 years old, but Dorian Murray officially now has his driver’s license – and a special license plate.

He was taken by surprise at a DMV ceremony Wednesday, saying, ‘I’m not even allowed to drive yet!”

But nonetheless, he walked out with two new reminders to always be “D-Strong”.

Dorian, the Westerly boy with terminal cancer, gained worldwide attention after he said his last wish is to become famous.

The DMV honored him with a commemorative license plate reading, of course, “D-STRNG”, and then he went right up to the license window and picked up his very own honorary driver’s license.

Dorian’s mom Melissa says his plate will go up on the wall, but she’s getting one for her own car.

"It may even make it to the living room wall…it’s pretty impressive I’m pretty happy with it. D-Strong…always D-Strong."

DMV employees also pitched in to make a donation to the American Cancer Society in Dorian’s name.

Meanwhile, in D.C., Congressman David Cicilline took to the house floor to say that the entire House of Representatives is “D-Strong”, too.

"I’m keeping Dorian, his mom Melissa and his dad Chris in my thoughts and prayers. And today the House of Representatives is ‘D-Strong’."

Dorian was seen using a walker – his mom said he is okay but it looks like nerve damage is making it hard for him to move his left leg.
