DOT employee arrested for possession of child porn

Rhode Island State Police have arrested an employee of the State of Rhode Island Department of Transportation for possession of child pornography.
44-year-old Robert O’Brien was arrested Monday after
ICAC Task Force members carried out a search warrant and found O’Brien to be in possession of digital media, e-mail accounts, and images of child pornography.
O’Brien is employed as a Computer Program Analyst at the DoT. Police say there is no indication of inappropriate conduct between O’Brien and minor children.
He could face up to five years in prison if found guilty.
