‘Dozens’ of dolphins stranded on Cape Cod

WELLFLEET, Mass. (WLNE) — The International Fund for Animal Welfare said that it is attempting to help dolphins that are stuck at the Herring River in Wellfleet.

The organization said that it is attempting to rescue the nearly 100 dolphins but it is difficult due to the mud.

The dolphins also risk sunburn and overheating until the tide rises.
