Driver leaves hit-and-run scene, hits Pawtucket store

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A Woonsocket man fled the scene of a hit-and-run in Pawtucket after slamming into a building.

Police say 51-year-old Christopher Antaya drove into the Precision Harley Davidson building on Armistice Boulevard at approximately 6:15 p.m. Thursday evening.

Their investigation revealed that Antaya had just been involved in an accident nearby. No one was injured in that crash.

Antaya was arrested and taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries from the second accident.
