Those winds will also be pulling in wildfire smoke from Nova Scotia today. Expect hazy skies throughout the day today especially since the fires are fairly close to us. The heaviest amount of smoke will be between 10:30am- 6pm and finally clearing out later this evening.

We have an area of ridging area of high pressure to the west and we will see our temps climb to the mid and upper 80’s towards the end of the week before another cold front arrives overnight Friday night into Saturday morning. Temps will be cooler Saturday and we could see some isolated showers.

Since we aren’t expecting much rain out of this next round you might want to water the grass a bit before it dries out.
