Dry stretch continues but comes to an end Friday
It was another chilly but otherwise lovely afternoon as we had plenty of sunshine for the third day in a row.
TA few clouds may finally arrive in our skies the next two days, but it will still be mostly sunny. Temperatures are also expected to bump up a few degrees too, into the 40s.
Friday will be very mild, closing in on 50 – but rain will move in. A brief wintry mix is possible at the onset around midnight, especially north and west of Providence in higher elevations, but it will quickly become all rain. Amounts of around a quarter of an inch are expected, with no flood concerns.
Colder air comes in Friday night, but skies will begin to clear out heading into the weekend. Highs Saturday will be down in the 30s, but should be better by Sunday.
