Dry through Friday, but more rain and wind on the way for early Saturday morning

Despite the break in the action, river flooding will remain an issue through week's end

After getting a chance to breathe a bit with a few days of dry weather, more rain is on the way early Saturday.

Call it a baby version of last night’s storm. We are expecting 1-2″ of rain and wind gusts 30-45 mph between midnight and 8 a.m. Saturday.

After dropping a bit Thursday into Friday, this will cause our already strained rivers to rise up a little more.

After that, we are eyeing a potential snow event on Tuesday, as colder air works in for next week.
