Duffle Bag Bash collects bags for kids in foster care
NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — Adoption Rhode Island and the Office for the Child Advocate hosted the 2024 Duffle Bag Bash on Sunday.
The event aims to collect rolling duffle bags, backpacks, or donations for children in foster care to keep their belongings when they move placements.
Judge Frank Caprio was at the event and thanked the people who came out to donate.
“It’s a credit to the people of Rhode Island that they’re lending not only their financial support but their moral support and their passion and their understanding,” Caprio said.
