Early voting to end in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Early voting will end today in Rhode Island.

According to the RI Voter Turnout Tracker, 142,030 early voters have showed up to the polls as of November 1.

45,382 mail ballots have also been sent in.

Tomorrow, all polling places will be open in Rhode Island and Massachusetts starting at 7 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m.

New Shoreham will open at 9 a.m.

You must bring a valid ID with you.

In Rhode Island, there is same day registration so it’s not too late to register and vote.

The RI Department of State does not report election results, but information about voter turnout is available on vote.ri.gov.
