East Bay Bike Path will be closed for repairs

RIVERSIDE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Department of Environmental Management announced that the East Bay Bike Path will be closed on Monday.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on April 8, a 1.5 mile stretch of the bike path in Riverside will undergo repairs.

Work will take approximately four to six hours to complete. During this time, no detours will be available.

The section will be closed off from Squantum Association intersection to the intersection of Bullocks Point Avenue and Washington Avenue.

DEM shares that this closure is necessary to work on newly paved areas to ensure safe traveling.
