East Greenwich fire damages local business

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WLNE) — An East Greenwich business was forced to close for repairs following a weekend fire.

The fire began in the apartment above the “French Bulldog Consignment Shop” at 850 Main Street Sunday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, the business says no one was hurt in the fire.

In addition to the “French Bulldog,” the building also houses a hair studio.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
