East Providence crews respond to fire at apartment complex

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The East Providence Fire Department responded to a fire at an apartment complex on Pawtucket Avenue Tuesday evening.

According to the East Providence Fire Battalion Chief Scott Weber, the fire was confined to the bedroom.

Officials said nobody was injured, and the Red Cross was alerted.

The fire remains under investigation.
