East Providence opens cooling centers due to heat

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence will be opening cooling centers due to the extreme heat.

Weaver Library at 41 Grove Ave. will be open today, June 20 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and tomorrow, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Riverside Library at 475 Bullocks Point Ave. will be open today, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and tomorrow, June 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
