Police search for car involved in pedestrian hit-and-run. 5/15/2022

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — East Providence police are searching for a driver that was involved in a hit-and-run accident involving a pedestrian on Friday night.

Police released a video on their Facebook of a blue Honda Fit fleeing after the crash. The vehicle was last seen driving eastbound on Warren Avenue from Pawtucket Avenue.

The vehicle might have a Rhode Island registration containing the numbers 1 and 5. The vehicle is expected to be missing the driver side mirror and have damage in the front.

According to police, the driver was an adult female with shoulder length blonde hair, and approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall.
