East Providence police send out alert after responding to multiple overdoses

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The East Providence police and fire departments responded to four separate overdoses on Tuesday, according to their official Facebook page.
The incidents occurred in Riverside, Rumford, and the center of the city.
Police report that none of the overdoses were fatal.
Investigations are under way, officials believe fentanyl to be the cause.
