Easton police to continue investigating area where possible remains were found

EASTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Easton Police Department said that there will be a presence on Black Brook Road today after possible skeletal remains were found yesterday.

Officials said they will be conducting a follow up search related to the potential skeletal remains located yesterday.

The remains were reported to be found by a brook on Summer Street by a resident who lives adjacent to the brook.

Easton Detectives and Massachusetts State Police Crime Services responded to the incident.

Police said there’s no danger to the public, but they are asking residents to remain clear of the area to allow space for the search efforts.
