Elderly woman crashes into CVS in Warwick

The Warwick Fire department responds to an accident where an elderly woman drives into a CVS.
Officials responded to the accident that happened just before 11 p.m. at the CVS on
The woman was not injured but was transported to the hospital. Two people inside the store said they suffered minor injuries but refused to be transported to the hospital and said they would go on their own.
Fire Officials believe the elderly woman hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.
The store’s entrance sustained damage but Officials say no structural damage was caused, the car sustained minor damages.
The store is closed but is expected to reopen tonight. This case remains under investigation.
