Elderly woman victim of Fall River hit-and-run

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A 72-year-old woman was the victim of a hit-and-run in Fall River Sunday night.

Police responded to the area of 200 Broadway at approximately 8:50 p.m. for a call of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The victim was located on the ground, having sustained multiple injuries after being struck by a vehicle.

She was transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle, which fled the scene after the collision, is described as a white sedan.
