North Kingstown: Electric Boat evacuated after bomb threat found written in bathroom stall

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the Electric Boat campus in North Kingstown after a report of a bomb threat was received by police.

The call came in at 10:10 a.m. reporting that someone wrote in a bathroom stall that the building was going to blow up at 11:30 a.m., according to the North Kingstown Police Department.

North Kingstown police and Rhode Island State Police responded to the Conway Avenue scene to establish a command post and the building was evacuated.

The investigation has concluded and the building is all clear.
