Elizabeth Beisel Qualifies For Third Trip To Olympics, Finishes Second In 400 IM At US Trials

North Kingstown’s Elizabeth Beisel has earned her third trip to the Olympic Games. The 23-year-old swimmer finishing second Sunday in the 400 IM at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Nebraska to qualify for the games in Rio. Beisel finishing with a time of 4:36.81, second to Maya Dirado. The swimmer was the silver medalist in the event at the 2012 Olympics in London. Beisel will compete in other events this week in Omaha to try and qualify again for Rio.
