Emergency Cooling Center Opening in Fall River

Fall River, MA (WLNE) – Because of high temperatures expected on Wednesday and Thursday, an emergency cooling center will be open in Fall River.

The cooling center will be in the cafeteria of Government Center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days. The city asks that you use the Third Street entrance.

The City of Fall River is reminding everyone to check on family and friends during the upcoming hot days. In addition, the city reminds everyone to drink plenty of water and stay in cooler indoor temperatures as much as possible.
