Emergency services respond to reported ammonia leak in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The New Bedford Police Department said it responded alongside the fire department to Fish Island Saturday for a reported ammonia leak.

The New Bedford Fire Department said that the building was evacuated and no injuries were reported due to the leak.

The scene was cleared by 2 p.m.
