A suspected accomplice in the Odin Lloyd murder appeared in Attleboro District Court Monday.
41-year-old Ernest Wallace was charged with accessory to murder after the fact for the June 17 murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. He was ordered held without bail and will appear in court on July 22 for a status hearing.
It is alleged that Wallace was an accessory after the fact to former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez faces first degree murder charges for allegedly shooting Lloyd, a semi-pro football player, to death and then dumping his body in a North Attleboro industrial park just blocks from the NFL player's home.
Wallace was arrested in Florida on June 28th after North Attleboro Police began a man hunt for him. He turned himself in to authorities and invoked his right to counsel.
Another suspect, Carlos Ortiz, was arrested in Connecticut and charged with carrying a firearm without a license in Massachusetts and being a fugitive from justice in Connecticut.
