Escaped show dog reunited with owner

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE) –A show dog missing since escaping from a dog show Sunday has been returned home. 

Pagan, a white borzoi, escaped from a a dog show on URI’s Kingston campus Sunday after jumping from the window of a van. 

Winnie Kelly, Pagan’s owner, confirmed Thursday that Pagan was recovered Wednesday evening not far from the URI campus. 

Kelly said with the help of members of a greyhound rescue group based out of Massachusetts, Pagan was located on Old North Road in Kingston, and has since been returned home.
