Esperanza Hope Lights and Sirens committee to host adopt-a-family Thanksgiving turkey annual giveaway

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Lights & Sirens International’s mission is to educate youth with sports and cultural exposure with a focus on developing community cohesion in Rhode Island and the Dominican Republic.

Esperanza-Hope’s mission is to fortify a positive vision of the future for low-income families and homeless in Rhode Island, and for children in the poorest communities of the Dominican Republic.

This year’s program is focused on help disadvantaged families in RI who might otherwise go hungry on Thanksgiving Day.

L.S.I is targeting to serve 1,000 families for Thanksgiving with meal baskets and turkeys.

The giveaway will be a drive thru event on November 20, 2021 From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Roger Williams Park, and the Washington Park Cal Ripken sports complex. 

In order to receive your Turkey and food on November 20, 2021 you must come in person and register on Saturday October 16th or Saturday October 23rd at 1014 Broad Street Providence, RI between 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
