Exercise may cure insomnia, scientists say

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Experts say exercise is a great way to beat insomnia.

Roughly 108 million Americans have difficulty sleeping, and multiple studies indicate that physical activity could help.

Exercise can be effective for those with sleep apnea, too.

One study officials say, showed that exercise alone led to a 25 percent reduction in sleep apnea symptoms over a three-month period.
