Explore New Bedford announces debut Oysterfest

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Explore New Bedford said it is partnering with the Fishing Heritage Center for Cisco Brewers’ first annual New Bedford Oysterfest on June 15.

The event will run from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Cisco on East Rodney French Boulevard.

It will feature seven local growers, including Island Creek Oysters of New Bedford/Duxbury, West Island Oysters of Fairhaven, Padanaram Oyster Farm of Dartmouth, Cuttyhunk Shellfish Farms of Cuttyhunk, Duxbury Oyster Company, Spindrift Oysters of Westport, and West Passage Oyster Company of Narragansett Bay.
