F-15 Flyover in Honor of Frontline Workers

BOSTON, MASS (WLNE) – According to a release posted to their Facebook page, the 104th Fighter Wing will fly over the commonwealth of Massachusetts on Wednesday to show support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Residents are told to look to the sky as the Massachusetts National Guard presents a four-ship F-15 flyover.

According to the release, the F-15 Eagles will fly over several area hospitals as a tribute to those working to combat the coronavirus.

The flyover is part of Operation “American Resolve”, a nationwide salute to COVID-19 response efforts.

Residents should be able to see the flyover from the listed areas and are asked to maintain social distance protocols, and refrain from going to the hospitals.

Times and locations of when the F-15s are expected to fly over:

  • Massachusetts State Police Graduation (Gillette Stadium, Foxborough) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (Boston) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • Mass. General Hospital and surrounding facilities (Boston) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center (Boston) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • West Roxbury VA Medical Center (Boston) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • Framingham Union Hospital (Framingham) – between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m.
  • UMass Memorial Medical Center (Worcester) – between 12:25 and 12:30 p.m.
  • DCU Center/St. Vincent’s Hospital (Worcester) – between 12:25 and 12:30 p.m.
  • Mercy Medical Center (Springfield) – between 12:35 and 12:40 p.m.
  • Baystate Medical Center (Springfield) – between 12:35 and 12:40 p.m.
  • Holyoke Medical Center (Holyoke) – between 12:35 and 12:40 p.m.
  • Holyoke Soldiers’ Home (Holyoke) – between 12:35 and 12:40 p.m.
