Faial owners to appear before Attorney General

Owners of the recently closed Faial Restaurants are scheduled to appear before the Office of the Attorney General Monday.
The owners were served a Civil Investigative Demand (CID) to resolve customer complaints over gifts cards bought from both of the Smithfield locations before they abruptly closed earlier this month.
The AG’s Office received nearly 375 complaints from angry customers who said their gift cards were not being honored.
