Faial Restaurant owners to appear before Attorney General

The owners of Faial Restaurants have now been ordered to appear before the Attorney General.
Owners Jose and Emelia Faria must appear to address and resolve customer complaints over gift cards bought from both locations in Smithfield before they closed unexpectedly last week.
The Attorney General’s office has received nearly 375 complaints from angry customers who said the gift cards were not being honored.
The owners are scheduled to appear before the Attorney General next week.
