Fairhaven Police say water main shutdown and repair scheduled
FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fairhaven Police Department said that there will be a water service shutdown on Sconticut Neck Road Wednesday to repair a leak.
The shutdown will be from Route 6 South to Manhattan Avenue which will begin at 9 p.m.
The shutdown will also affect most side streets in the area.
Police added that water service will be restored “as soon as possible” and that residents should run cold water once service is restored to clear out any dirt and debris.
