Fall River announces parking ban ahead of incoming storm

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The city of Fall River will institute a parking ban that will go into effect Monday at 6 p.m.
The ban will be in place until further notice.
The ban is in response to a winter storm that is expected to hit the region on Tuesday
Parking will be allowed on the north side of all city streets that run east and west, and will also be allowed on the west side of the streets that run north and south.
The fine for violating the ban will be $65.
Parking will be available at the Flint Municipal Parking Lot on Cash Street, the City of Fall River Municipal Parking Lot on the corner of Columbia Street and Hunter Street, Talbot Middle School on Melrose Street and the parking lot on Hood Street.
