Fall River-born Special Forces veteran to be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery

PASADENA, MD (WLNE) — A Fall River-born United States Army veteran who passed away Wednesday will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
Thomas Bertram Robinson, 91, graduated from Durfee High School in 1953 and embarked on a remarkable military career.
Robinson served in the U.S. Army in various Special Forces capacities, including 10th Special Forces Group, 77 Special Forces, 2nd Special Forces and 11th Special Forces.
Robinson was also a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, an airborne infantry division of the U.S. Army.
He worked as a civilian First Army DCSLOG Engineer until retiring.
Robinson leaves behind a son, granddaughter and great-grandchildren, according to his obituary with Kalas Funeral Home in Maryland.
The date of his Arlington National Cemetery service has not been announced.
