Fall River director of community maintenance, promoted by Correia, on leave

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Fall River director of community maintenance, who was promoted by ex-Mayor Jasiel Correia, has been placed on administrative leave.
Mayor Paul Coogan’s office told ABC 6 News Friday that there is an investigation into John Perry. No further information on that investigation wasn’t immediately released.
Perry, according to the mayor’s office, will be on paid leave until May 3.
The director of community maintenance was promoted by Correia in 2018.
Also Friday, Correia self-reported to a federal prison in New Hampshire where he will serve six years for fraud and corruption.
