Fall River Environmental Police charge man with illegal dumping

FALLR RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that Environmental Police officers arrested a man for allegedly illegally dumping in the area of the causeway on Wilson Road on Nov. 11.

30-year-old Kyle Correia was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, uninsured motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle, failure to stop, trespass with a motor vehicle, and illegal dumping.

Police said they allegedly saw Correia moving between his truck and a wooded area that was a known dumping ground.

He allegedly attempted to leave the area but was stopped, and police said debris in the back of his truck matched debris found at the area used for dumping.
