Fall River fire displaces 11

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Fire Department said that 11 people were displaced after a fire on Bradford Avenue Thursday evening.

The fire started on the second floor of a three story residence around 5:30 p.m.

The fire spread from the second story apartment to the attic, where it was extinguished.

Firefighters said that one bedroom had heavy fire damage and the rest of the building suffered water damage.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
