Fall River firefighters respond to apartment fire

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Firefighters’ union said the department responded to a fire at an apartment building on North Main Street Thursday night.

The department said the call for the fire first came in around 7 p.m.

The fire came from the second floor balcony and was put out quickly.

ABC 6 News crews on scenes saw multiple fire vehicles.

The department said the incident is still being investigated and no one was injured.

The Red Cross is helping residents of two apartments with shelter.
