Fall River house fire displaces three families

FALL RIVER, MA (WLNE): The American Red Cross is helping three families displaced following a house fire on 4th St. in Fall River, according to the Fall River Fire Department.
The fire broke out just before 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
The Fire Department said the fire started in the attic of the 3 family apartment building and spread to the 3rd floor.
The residents inside the home made it out safely without injuries.
“The Red Cross is also providing comfort kits containing personal care items such as toothbrushes, deodorant; shaving supplies and other items a resident might need when suddenly displaced from their home by a fire,” the American Red Cross said.
The cause is unknown.
