Fall River launches water taxi

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River residents now have a new way of commuting in the city.

The city officially launched it’s water taxi at The Borderlight Marina.

Residents can hop-on or hop-off the water taxi from Thursdays to Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.

The taxi makes stops along the Fall River waterfront from the Borden Light Marina, also known as the Tipsy Seagull, to the Thomas Norton City Pier to Bicentennial Park for $3.

Fall River also launched a trolley as a new form of transportation for city residents last week.
