Police said when they arrived at the motel, Vinnie, 45, barricaded himself inside of his room.

After multiple unsuccessful tries to get Vinnie to exit his room, Det. Kyle Costa said a SWAT team entered the room and arrested the 45-year-old.

Vinnie was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he remains. His condition wasn’t immediately known.

Aside from the warrant, Costa said Vinnie was charged with resisting arrest.
