Fall River man arrested for trafficking fentanyl

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said Wednesday that a Fall River man was arrested for trafficking fentanyl.

On Thursday, police searched a home on County Street.

Officeres seized over a kilogram of suspected fentanyl, large quantities of cocaine, hundreds of round blue pills suspected to contain fentanyl, five jars of suspected marijuana and illegal guns from the home.

Raymond Cash, 33, was arrested and charged with trafficking fentanyl 200 grams or more, possession of a firearm, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm silencer, distribution of marijuana and resisting arrest.

He is being held without bail.

The arrest and narcotics seizures came as a result of a long-term undercover investigation, according to the district attorney’s office.
