Fall River man arrested in connection to Flint neighborhood shooting death

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Fall River man has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a man on Nov. 22, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III.

32-year-old Kendrick Williams was arrested in Florida on Wednesday and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, carrying a firearm subsequent offense, and carrying a loaded firearm.

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, 31-year-old Taiquan Teixeira was shot and killed on Pleasant Street on Nov. 22.

Williams, who had warrants out of Bristol County Superior Court for armed robbery invasion and two counts of masked robbery with a firearm, was arrested by police in Jacksonville, Florida on Wednesday.

He will be held without bail in Florida until he can be extricated to Massachusetts.
