Fall River man arrested in connection with multiple break-ins

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that a 43-year-old has been arrested on charges of breaking-and-entering and larceny.

Luis Carlos Almeida, Jr. was charged with four counts of breaking and entering in the nighttime to commit a felony, four counts of larceny from a building, two counts of larceny over $1,200, attempted breaking and entering into a depository, and attempt to commit a crime.

The department said the Major Crimes Division arrested Almeida “in connection with multiple business breaks which occurred over the past few days.”
