Fall River man arrested in connection with vehicle larcenies in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (WLNE) — The Portsmouth Police Department said that a Fall River man was arrested on July 15 in connection with multiple vehicle larcenies in the city.
32-year-old Clifton Dushevskyy was charged with driving without the consent of the owner, fraudulent use of credit cards, injuring or tampering with vehicles, larceny, and conspiracy.
The department said that multiple larcenies occurred during the week of Dec. 30, 2024, including larcenies from vehicles and theft of a vehicle.
Police said that victims reported various items as being stolen, in including pairs of sunglasses, gift cards, cash, credit cards, personal checks, keys, clothing, and medications.
During the investigation of the incidents Dushevskyy was identified as the primary suspect and multiple arrest warrants were issued on Jan. 3.
